Maurer Family Funerals are members of the Australian Funeral Directors Association. We agree to honour the spirit and provisions of the Code of Ethics for Funeral Directors.
To maintain in all matters the highest of standards of business, professional and personal conduct.
To ensure that staff are qualified, competent and compassionate.
To provide information concerning the range of services available, prices of these services, functions and responsibilities accepted on behalf of our clients.
To give a written estimate of all funeral charges and disbursements to be made on behalf of our clients, at the time or as soon as possible.
To respect the personal choice of clients and have regard for their diversity of beliefs in religious and cultural practices.
To respect the fact that the premises becomes sacred when a family entrusts us with one of their most precious possessions, to keep faith with them by conducting ourselves as though the family were present.
To be thoroughly conversant with the laws of the land as they apply to the funeral service and allied industries and professions.
